FishTopia Treasure Hunts!

The Alaska FishTopia Team has hidden more than $20,000 in cash and treasures throughout Alaska in more than a dozen locations. Clues, hints, and details can be found by following us on Facebook, Instagram, and of course in the Alaska Fishtopia App. The clues to the first treasure hunt have already  been released in the app!

Enrich your life,  Have Fun, Enrich Your Wallet, Challenge Your Brain

Alaska is one of the most unique places on our planet. FishTopia was created to be the ultimate Alaska outdoor fishing and adventure companion. With that in mind, we are excited to announce FishTopia Treasure Hunts! During the summer of 2020 the FishTopia team has hidden cash & prizes of more than $20,000 throughout the state of Alaska. We compiled a list of some of our favorite hikes, bike trails, vistas, restaurants and more all across the state. We went on the adventures and in these places we’ve hidden and left behind more than $20,000 in treasure for you to find. We're constantly hiding new treasures and creating new puzzles.

The Harder The Search The More Valuable The Treasure

Not only do you get the chance to explore some fantastic areas you really should be exploring anyway, or possibly revisiting, but now you’ve got a chance to hunt for real cash treasure and prizes.   Each treasure hunt is worth a different amount of money. Many are worth several thousands of dollars. The value of each treasure is largely determined by the amount of effort involved in finding it or difficulty in solving the puzzles, riddles, clues, and other hints we’ll provide. As an example, hikes and bike rides are worth more than, say, finding a treasure at one of our favorite restaurants or watering holes.

Here’s How It Works

Cash prizes and FishTopia Patches have been hidden in some of our favorite spots throughout Alaska FishTopia patches have a denomination value and serial number on the back. The patch must be redeemed for cash. Why did we do this? We would love to simply put actual treasure in the world (and for many hunts we have!) but the risk of fire, avalanche, rock-slides and more create the potential for the treasure to be destroyed. So we struck a balance. In many cases the treasure you're looking for will be hard US currency. In others it might be patch that can be redeemed for the cash value denoted on the patch. Some have a combination of both. Clues will be provided for all the different treasures in the Alaska FishTopia App, on the Alaska FishTopia Instagram & facebook accounts. So if you are interested in these hunts it's best to download the app and follow our social media accounts. Clues can show up anytime, anywhere. Each hunt has a number and a name associated with it to help you associate each clue with the specific hunt it applies to. If you find the treasure and post the picture to your social media page of the discovery we will also send you a $50.00 gift card to Sportsman's Warehouse - one of our premier sponsors!
